Tips to Extend the Life of Your LED Screen

LED screen TVs have become popular in the market because of their ability to produce bright and highly detailed images that make the viewing and watching experience just that much more enjoyable. But if you've ever had the unpleasant experience of having your LED screen die out on you or dim down significantly, you've probably already realized how important it is to take care of your entertainment investment. You may have already found yourself asking the question "what does it take to extend the life of my LED screen?" Read on to find out.

1.            Adjust Your Brightness - This has to be the single most detrimental user practice that causes dimness in led video wall screen. Generally, users feel compelled to set their screens to the highest brightness setting even if it's not entirely necessary. Using it at this extreme could cause those little pixels to burn out and dim down with time. The best way to set your brightness is to start at the lowest setting and then work your way up towards the setting that you think would work best. It also pays to reposition your TV so that there's no glare working against it. Avoid facing it to windows or other light sources so you won't feel the need to crank up the brightness.

2.            Provide Apt Ventilation - Your TV is going to use up a lot of energy and will thus generate a lot of heat while you use it. When you leave it in a humid, hot room, you run the risk of damaging it with unreasonable temperatures. The best way to avoid overheating would be by leaving the back side of the led rental display exposed instead of having it pressed up against a wall. This allows the heat to dissipate instead of accumulate in and around the back area. It also pays to place your LED TV in a spacious, airy room that is well ventilated to avoid heat from rising during use.

3.            Turn It Off - One of the most common practices among many LED TV users is that they keep it on even when it doesn't need to be turned on. Having TV shows and movies run in the background while you get your work done may help you feel a little less alone, but that could be detrimental to your TV, especially if it's barely ever turned off. When no one's watching, turn off your TV and leave it to rest.
